Leduc RCMP Investigate Pedestrian Collision on Highway 2

RCMP-1205Leduc, Alberta – On September 10th, 2016 at approximately 1:00am the Leduc RCMP responded to a complaint of a female that had been struck by a vehicle travelling northbound on Highway #2 between Nisku and the City of Leduc.


The female pedestrian was walking northbound on Highway #2 where she was struck by an unidentified vehicle that failed to remain at the scene of the collision. The Leduc RCMP and Leduc Emergency Medical Services were able to locate the female and she was transported to the Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle involved is unknown at this time and the file remains under investigation.
