Robbery with a Firearm at Fort McMurray Shopper’s Drug Mart, New Brunswick Male Arrested

RCMP-1205Fort McMurray, Alberta – On September 2nd, 2016, shortly after 12:00 pm, the Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a call of a robbery in progress at the Shopper’s Drug Mart on Franklin Avenue, in Fort McMurray. The initial investigation revealed that a male wearing a mask was demanding OxyContin from the pharmacist. The pharmacist refused to meet the male’s demands and proceeded to pin him down until police arrived.

Tony BRAYALL (38) of New Brunswick has been charged with Robbery with a Firearm and being disguised with Intent to Commit an Offence. BRAYALL remains in custody.
