Evening Armed Robbery at Caslan General Store east of Boyle

On September 13, 2016 at approximately 1810hrs, two suspects entered the Caslan General Store east of Boyle and committed an armed robbery.

RCMP-1205Boyle, Alberta – On September 13, 2016 at approximately 1810hrs, two suspects entered the Caslan General Store east of Boyle and committed an armed robbery. The suspects demanded cash, cigarettes and lottery tickets from the clerk. During the course of the robbery, one of the suspects fired a shot into a display case. Suspects departed the scene in a grey/silver SUV being driven by a third suspect.

No one was injured during the course of this occurrence.

Suspects are considered to be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information regarding this event or suspects are encouraged to contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1

Black Underarmor hoodie with a camo Underarmor logo
Dark colored hat
Dark colored bandana covering his face
Orange rubber safety gloves
Armed with a sawed-off shotgun
“Crows feet” around his eyes
Possibly in his late 30’s.

Suspect #2

Grey and black hooded sweater.
Camo hat
Camo bandana covering his face
Small black backpack
Armed with a handgun.
Younger than Suspect #1

Vehicle

Grey/silver SUV
Similar to a Jeep or GMC Jimmy
Licence plate (Alberta) YEH-676.

The licence plate does not match and was stolen from another parked vehicle earlier in the evening.
