Suspect sought in armed robbery at home in Riverview, N.B.

RCMP-1205Riverview, New Brunswick – The Codiac Regional RCMP is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a residence in Riverview, N.B.


On September 12, 2016, at approximately 6 p.m., a man armed with a long gun forced his way into a home on Cleveland Avenue as the occupant answered the door. The man uttered threats and demanded cash. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The owner of the home was slightly injured when the man forced his way into the home. A woman was also in the home at the time but was not injured.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, measuring approximately 6’ tall with a slim build and long blond hair. He may be approximately 40 years old and was possibly missing some teeth. He was wearing jeans and a dark-coloured jacket or shirt.
