Early Morning Stabbing in Saskatoon Results in Charges

SASKATOONSaskatoon, Saskatchewan – A 27 year old man is facing a charge of Aggravated Assault following a stabbing early this morning.


Saskatoon StabbingPolice received a report of an injured person at approximately 2:00 a.m., September 14, 2016, at an apartment in the 3100 block of Laurier Drive. When officers arrived they located a 28 year old man suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to hospital by MD Ambulance with what are believed to be non life-threatening injuries. A 27 year old man was located at the same apartment and charged. The accused and the victim are known to each other.

He is expected to appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court or before a Justice of the Peace later today.
