Impaired Driver Crashes into Multiple Cars, $100,000 Plus in Damages

Moose JawMoose Jaw, Saskatchewan – At 2017 hours on September 13, 2016 FIRE, EMS and Police attended to a motor vehicle collision in the 100 block of Fairford St W.


Moose Jaw CollisionA westbound vehicle being driven at a high rate of speed drove over the raised median into oncoming traffic and collided with several parked cars on the south side of the street.

In all 6 vehicles were damaged, 5 of which had to be towed from the scene. Damage is estimated at over one hundred thousand dollars.

A 30 year old male from Moose Jaw was arrested on scene and has been charged with Impaired Driving and Driving over .08

The male has been released from custody and will appear in Provincial Court at a later date. The male’s driver’s license has been suspended indefinitely and his vehicle impounded for 30 days.
