RCMP investigate attempted theft of a vehicle, involving a possible firearm

RCMP-1205Blackfalds, Alberta – On today’s date in the afternoon, the Blackfalds RCMP were dispatched to a call of a attempted theft of a vehicle at a rural property outside of Red Deer in the vicinity of Rge Road 273 and Highway 42.


The lone male fled the scene when confronted by the property owners, however flashed a believed to be firearm.

RCMP units, from Blackfalds detachment, Innisfail Detachment and the Police Dog Services unit attend the scene and began looking for the lone male. It appears as though, the male may have garnered a ride away from the scene.

The male is described as 6 feet tall, Caucasian, skinny, black hair, scruffy facial hair, wearing camouflage pants.
