Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – Two Prince Albert residents are facing twenty two drug and weapon charges following an investigation by members of the Prince Albert Integrated Street Enforcement Team (ISET).
A 36 year old male and 25 year old female were taken into custody following the execution of a search warrant on a home in the 600 Block of 28th Street West on September 21, 2016 at approximately 11:30 a.m. They will have made their first court appearance this morning in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
The following weapons and drugs were seized as a result of the search warrant, loaded pump action sawed off shot gun, loaded .17 caliber Savage Rifle, various ammunition, numerous homemade weapons, 41.2 grams of cocaine, 14.5 grams of methamphetamine and 10.3 grams of marihuana and $9,565.00 cash.
Both accused have been charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine, Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Marihuana, Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5,000.00 and numerous firearms related charges.
The Integrated Street Enforcement Team is made up of members of the Prince Albert Police Service and Royal Canadian Mounted Police Service.
