Conrich, Alberta – After responding earlier today to a complaint of a suspicious vehicle at a school in Conrich, Strathmore RCMP have determined that the cube van is deemed non-suspicious.
The Strathmore RCMP with the assistance of RCMP specialized units examined the cube van and are satisfied that it is a non-suspicious, although stolen, vehicle which appears to have been abandoned in the school parking lot.
There will be no further updates on this investigation.
Strathmore RCMP investigate suspicious vehicle
Conrich, Alberta – At 1:30 p.m. today, Strathmore RCMP responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle; a 5 ton cube van, parked in the lot of the Khalsa School in Conrich.
The RCMP currently have the area under a restricted access while an investigation is underway into the nature of this incident and/or the reason for the vehicle to be in the school parking lot.
Students and staff from the school are safely off the premises of the school. Residences within close proximity to the school are under a restricted access and residents are asked to be patient while the situation is investigated. There are no members of the public at any risk, and the RCMP will provide an update, when available.
