Regina, Saskatchewan – Members of Regina Police Service Emergency Services Teams have been deployed in the execution of a high-risk search warrant today, September 27, 2016, as part of ongoing investigation.
Police teams, which include the Special Weapons and Tactics, or SWAT, as well as Crisis Negotiator teams are deployed at the area of the 1200 block of Angus Street. Schools in the area have been notified and residents have been advised.
The Regina Police Service is asking other members of the public to please, if possible, keep a reasonable distance away from the 1200 block of Angus Street (well outside the police perimeter) until the situation has been safely resolved.
It’s expected there will be further details as to charges as the investigation progresses. There are no other details for release at this time.
The search warrant, which was the subject of a previous news release today, September 27, 2016, has been safely executed on the residence of the 1200 block of Angus Street. The situation has been resolved, and regular activity in the area may continue.
