RCMP investigates fatal collision between a car and a tractor-trailer

Garland’s Crossing, Nova Scotia – Yesterday, at noon, a fatal collision occurred between a car and a tractor-trailer between Exits 5 and 5A on Highway 101. The 41-year-old driver of the car, who was from Lower Sackville, died, while the driver of the transport truck was not injured. The collision occurred in Garland’s Crossing, near Windsor.

Highway 101 was closed between Exits 5 and 5A until approximately 8 p.m. while an RCMP Traffic Analyst conducted an investigation. The highway has since been re-opened.
