UPDATED: Saskatoon Stabbing Sends Male to Hospital With Life Threatening Injuries

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – Members of the Saskatoon Police Service are currently investigating a stabbing that occurred just before 6:55 p.m this evening (September 28, 2016).


Police were called to the 2100 block of 22nd Street West for a report of a male that had been stabbed in the neck. The 46 year old victim was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries. A witness at the scene observed two male suspects flee after the assault. The investigation is ongoing and no other information is available at this time.

UPDATE 10:30 PM: The 46 year old male victim has undergone surgery and is now in stable condition. Investigation is ongoing.
