Marijuana grow operation dismantled in Tabusintac, N.B.

Tabusintac, New Brunswick – The Northeast District RCMP has dismantled a marijuana grow operation in Tabusintac, N.B.


On September 28, 2016, members of the Tracadie and Neguac detachments of the RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Covedell Road.

During the search, police seized 45 marijuana plants, as well as quantities of street-ready marijuana, dried marijuana, and hash. Drug paraphernalia and an unsecured firearm were also seized. In total, the marijuana seized could have produced more than 53,000 marijuana joints and additional quantities of hash.
