Grande Prairie RCMP Investigate Street Robbery

Grande Prairie, Alberta –  On Friday, September 30, 2016 at approximately 12:45 PM, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report of a robbery in the area of 101 Street and 112 Avenue. A female was walking down the street when she was approached by an unknown male demanding that she give him her purse and cell phone. The male grabbed her purse and assaulted her before fleeing the area on foot toward 104 Street.


The male suspect is described as:

• Caucasian
• Between 30 and 45 years old
• White, scruffy facial hair
• Wearing a black hoodie
• Blue Jeans

The female was treated by EMS for minor injuries.
