Two Charged in Robbery with Firearm Incident

Fort McKay, Alberta – On August 27t, 2016, Wood Buffalo RCMP responded to a residence in Fort McKay where it was reported a man robbed occupants at gunpoint and then fled the scene.


After a thorough investigation, Wood Buffalo RCMP executed a warrant of arrest on September 30th at a different residence in Fort McKay where 30 year old Edward Louis Grandjambe of Fort McKay was arrested. Also arrested was 22 year old Alicia Christine Silva of Edmonton.

Grandjambe is facing a number of charges including;

– Robbery with a Firearm
– Identity Fraud
– Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
– Theft Under $5000.00
– Disobeying a Court Order

Silva is facing a charges of;

– Robbery with a Firearm
– Fail to Comply with Conditions Undertaking or Recognizance X 6

Both Grandjambe and Silva remain in custody and are scheduled for a court appearance in Fort McMurray on Monday, October 3rd.
