Dog Found With Broken Bones and Taped Muzzle, Police Investigate

High Prairie, Alberta – On October 2, 2016 the High Prairie RCMP Detachment entered into a investigation of animal cruelty.

A collie cross dog was located at the Peavine Waste Transfer Site and then transported to the High Prairie Vet Clinic for treatment, the dog was suffering from broken bones and its muzzle taped up. Unfortunately the dog was euthanized due to the trauma.
