Police Shut Down Large Meth Lab in Abbotsford, B.C.

Abbotsford, BC: On Monday, October 3, 2016, the Abbotsford Police Department and the RCMP Clandestine Laboratory Enforcement and Response (CLEAR) Team attended a residence in the 1700 block of Mt. Lehman Road. Police executed a search warrant at that location and found a large scale methamphetamine lab inside the home.

The environment of the residence was extremely toxic, dangerous and presented severe public safety risks prior to this intervention by law enforcement. The investigation is continuing, including any possible connection to the meth lab located in the 35000 block of Marshall Road earlier this week.

An integral component of the ongoing investigation will be the connections to organized crime. The substantial size of the operation alone is indicative of the scale of resources seen with organized crime involvement.
