Investigation Results In Guns/Drugs Seized in Saskatoon

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – On September 30th, 2016 members of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) conducted a search of a vehicle in the 3300 block 8th Street East. Inside they located a duffle bag containing 682 fentanyl pills, 22 grams of cocaine and a loaded 9mm handgun.


A 25 year old Saskatoon man is facing numerous charges relating to Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking in fentanyl and cocaine as well as weapons offences resulting from the contents of the duffle bag. At the time of his arrest the suspect was in excess of $4000 dollars on his person.

A further inspection of the vehicle resulted in the additional seizure of 550 grams of methamphetamine, numerous bundles of crack cocaine believed to amount to half a kilogram, a hand gun with a silencer and approximately $5000 in cash.

The investigation is continuing.
