Man arrested following meth seizure on Principale Street in Tracadie

Tracadie, New Brunswick – A 47-year-old Tracadie, N.B., man has been arrested in connection with the seizure of drugs, including methamphetamine.


On October 4, 2016, members of the Northeast District RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence on Principale Street in Tracadie. Police seized a quantity of methamphetamine pills and prescription medications, as well as marijuana and cash. The search was conducted by members of the Tracadie Crime Reduction Unit.

The man was arrested at the scene and later released. He is scheduled to appear in Tracadie Provincial Court on February 9, 2017.

The investigation is continuing.
