UPDATE: Four Additional Males Charged in Grande Prairie Mall Shooting Incident

Grande Prairie, Alberta – Grande Prairie RCMP have charged 4 additional males following an incident that occurred at Prairie Mall on Thursday, September 15, 2016. A single shot was fired, resulting in injuries to three people. These charges are stemming from an altercation at the mall just prior to the shooting incident.

Richard VAILLANCOURT (49) of Grande Prairie has been charged with robbery. He will appear in court in Grande Prairie on November 28, 2016.

Doug Wheeler (33) of Grande Prairie has been charged with assault. He will appear in court in Grande Prairie on October 19, 2016.

Tevin Watson (24) and Kyle Tyler-Ross (25) both of Grande Prairie have both been charged with failing to comply with conditions. They appeared in court last month.

Given that this matter is now before the courts, the RCMP will not be providing any additional information at this time.
