Break and Enter Into Three St. Albert Businesses over Thanksgiving Weekend

St. Albert, Alberta – On Friday, October 7, 2016 St. Albert R.C.M.P. received a complaint from the property representative at Rock Solid Mini Storage, who reported 8 units had been broken into. At the time of this release renters were still being notified thus a list of stolen items not yet available. The investigation is continuing.


2) St. Albert, Alberta – On Sunday October 9, 2016 at approximately 4:00 A.M. St. Albert R.C.M.P. responded to a break and enter at Popeye’s located at 367 St. Albert Road. Upon arrival police noted the front window had been smashed and stole articles of clothing. Information gathered indicated a suspect, described as wearing a balaclava, left in what appeared to be a green 2000-2003 Chevrolet Malibu to the building. The investigation is continuing.

3) St. Albert, Alberta – On Monday, October 10, 2016 at approximately 5:40 A.M. St. Albert R.C.M.P. responded to an alarm at Quiznos located at 700 St. Albert Road. Upon attendance police observed a 2014 Black Ford F350 truck had backed into the glass front of the restaurant resulting in extensive damage to both the restaurant and the pick up truck. The truck had been was reported stolen to Morinville RCMP later that morning. At the time of this release, damage estimates were not available. The investigation is ongoing.
