35-Year-Old Male Charged Following Attempt to Evade Police in Saskatoon

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – On October 13th, 2016 at approximately 8:49 pm, members of the Saskatoon Police Service attempted to stop a Pontiac SUV near the intersection of Broadway Avenue and Ruth Street.


The vehicle refused to stop for police and fled southbound on Broadway Avenue. The vehicle then traveled on Circle Drive and eventually southbound on Highway 11. A tire deflation device was utilized on a grid road near the outskirts of the city. The device punctured the tires of the suspect vehicle and the suspect eventually stopped when he drove down a grid road with no exit.

The 35 year old male driver faces charges of dangerous driving, fail to stop for police and breach of a court order.
