RCMP seek information about suspected ATV bridge arson

Wards Creek, New Brunswick – The Sussex RCMP is seeking public information that could help solve the suspected arson to a bridge used by all-terrain vehicle riders in the area of Wards Creek, N.B.


On October 11, 2016, police responded to a report that a wooden bridge, located on a provincial ATV trail near Quirk Road, was severely damaged by fire. The investigation has led police to believe that the fire was deliberately set overnight between Friday October 7, and Saturday October 8.

Police are asking anyone with information, or who may have seen someone in the area during that time, to contact the Sussex RCMP at 506-433-7700.
