RCMP seek the assistance of the public after farm equipment is extensively damaged

Green Meadows, Prince Edward Island – Shortly before 7:00 a.m., on October 13, 2016, the Souris RCMP were called to a farm in Green Meadows after it was reported several pieces of farm equipment had been extensively damaged.


In total three tractors, two wind rowers and one potato harvester all sustained significant damage. At least one tire on each of the six pieces of farm equipment had been punctured. Also, a sugar or sugar like substance was poured into the gas tank and oil tank of each tractor.

These deliberate acts of mischief and vandalism occurred between 8:45 p.m. on October 12, 2016 and 6:00 a.m. on October 13, 2016. If you have any information about this crime, please contact the Souris Detachment of the RCMP at 902-687-9300.
