Lloydminster, Saskatchewan – On October 12, 2016, Just after 3:00 P.M., Lloydminster RCMP responded to a call of a theft from a business in the 4800 block of 44 Street. Two males tried on clothing from the store and left on foot. Police Dog Services were contact and a track led to a residence in the 4700 block of 45 Street. While at the residence RCMP were able to identify other property that had been stolen previously. The General Investigation Section was brought in and a search warrant was completed on the residence. Police were able to recover, 8 tires and rims, and a large quantity of power tools.
Randy Lysohirka, 30 years old from Lloydminster, has been charged with Theft under $5000, Possession of a controlled substance, four counts of breach, and Mischief. Four other individuals were arrested and charges are pending.
“It is expected that the items seized will help in solving numerous ongoing investigations,” Said Constable Kirzinger. ” Being aware and always looking for more is what enabled this investigation to go from a shoplifting complaint to one that will see property returned to its owners.”
