Codiac Regional Police release photos in hotel armed robbery case

Moncton, New Brunswick – The Codiac Regional RCMP has released an additional photo from an armed robbery that took place in Moncton, at the Travelodge on Mountain Road in September 2016.


Police are continuing to investigate the incident and have released a photo of the van the suspect fled in, in hopes that someone may recognize it and be able to provide information. In the photo, the van appears to be pink, but this is a result of the lighting in the area. The van is a white Chevrolet Express cargo van. Two photos of the suspect were originally released in September.

On September 10, 2016, at approximately 4 a.m., a man armed with a knife, entered the Travelodge on Mountain Road. He fled in the van with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a 20 to 30-year-old Caucasian man, measuring approximately 6′ tall with a medium build. He was wearing grey sweatpants, black sandals and an orange hooded “construction” sweater with yellow reflective stripes.
