Investigation: Male suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds at the McDonald’s / Otter Co-op Gas Bar in Langley

Langley, BC: Shortly after 7:00 last night (October 16th), Langley RCMP received a complaint of shots fired at the McDonald’s / Otter Co-op Gas Bar in the 26400 block of 56 Avenue.


Officers attended to find a male suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The parking lot at the Greater Vancouver Zoo is definitely a location connected to this investigation.

While it is still early in the investigation, police do believe this incident to be targeted. At this time is remains undetermined if this shooting is connected to the homicide earlier in the day in Langley.

The victim was in the company of another male who has provided information to assist with the investigation.

Due to injuries sustained by the victim, police have not been able to formerly speak to him and gather more information. He is a 29 year old male from Mission who is known to police.
