UPDATE: Man Wanted for Calgary Armed Robbery Identified

Calgary, Alberta – Following a press release yesterday asking for the public’s assistance in an armed robbery investigation, a man has been identified and is now currently wanted on a warrant. Police are once again asking for public assistance in locating him.

At approximately 1 a.m., on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, a man entered the 7-Eleven at 3725 30 Ave. S.E. Once inside, he selected several electronic items and poured a coffee before going to the till. As the clerk rang in the items, the man produced a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the store. No one was injured as a result.

Tyler Wayne James RATLEDGE, 30, is wanted on a warrant for armed robbery.

He is described as Caucasian, 5’6” tall, with a slim build, short brown hair and tattoos covering his right arm and on the right side of his neck.

RATLEDGE has ties to Olds and Bowden.

Calgary Armed Robbery Suspect Photos Released, Please Help Police Identify

Calgary, Alberta – The Calgary Police Service is seeking public assistance with identifying a man believed to have been involved in the armed robbery of a convenience store earlier this week.

At approximately 1 a.m., on Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, a man entered the 7-Eleven at 3725 30 Ave. S.E. Once inside, he selected several electronic items and poured a coffee before going to the till. As the clerk rang in the items, the man produced a handgun, pointed it at the clerk and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of money and left the store. No one was injured as a result.

The man is described as Caucasian, between 25 and 30, 5’6” tall, with a slim build, short brown hair and tattoos covering his right arm. He was wearing a white Nike T-shirt with “BEAST” written on the front, and black jeans.
