Suspect steals charity box containing less than ten bucks

Nanaimo, BC: The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male who stole a charity box with less than ten dollars in donations, destined for the local Lions Club. The theft occurred at approximately at 12 pm on Monday October 17th, at the Petro-Canada located at 1271 Island Highway South.

The male suspect was captured on video surveillance. He is a white male, mid 40’s, with short dark hair, wearing a blue jacket and work boots.
