Driver charged by RCMP with Passing a School Bus

Stratford, Prince Edward Island – Stratford RCMP have charged a 39 year-old driver from Donagh for passing a school bus while displaying flashing red lights.

On October 18, 2016 just after 8:00 AM, Stratford RCMP commenced an investigation after the School Bus Driver reported a vehicle passed his school bus on Bunbury Road as children were embarking onto the bus. The school bus flashing lights were clearly illuminated.

The driver was later identified through a description provided by the bus driver. The driver was issued a Summary Offence Ticket for $1075 dollars and 8 demerit points.
