Springhill, Nova Scotia – Cumberland District RCMP and Cumberland County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit (SCEU) have seized a gun and drugs and have recovered a stolen ATV after executing a search warrant in Springhill.
On October 26, members of Cumberland District RCMP and Cumberland Integrated SCEU executed a search warrant at a residence in Springhill. The search resulted in the seizure of a shot gun, ammunition, marihuana, crack cocaine and Oxycodone tablets. A stolen ATV was also recovered. Charges are pending against a 32-year-old male.
“Any day we can take a gun and drugs off the street is a good one,” says Sgt. Dwayne Loppie, Cumberland RCMP. “It sends the mesage that we will not tolerate this type of activity in the town of Springhill.”
The investigation is ongoing.
