Male arrested and charged for Indecent Act

Sherwood Park, Alberta – On Friday November 4, 2016 at approximately 8:42 a.m. Strathcona County RCMP responded to a report of a male exposing himself near Broadmoor Lake Park in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

The victim was walking on a trail on the northwest side of Broadmoor Lake Park when the victim saw a male allegedly exposing his genitals and masturbating. The victim left the area and immediately called police.

Shortly after the initial call, a second victim reported observing a male walking and holding his genitals in his hand. The victim flagged down police patrolling in the area and the male was located near Beauvista Drive and arrested.

Jake SPILDE, age 21 of Sherwood Park, Alberta has been charged with two counts of Indecent Act.

SPILDE was released from custody on a recognizance and is scheduled to appear in Sherwood Park Provincial Court on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at 9:30 a.m.
