RCMP investigating vandalism to community signs in the Village of New Maryland

New Maryland, New Brunswick – The RCMP in Oromocto is investigating damage that was done recently to two signs in the Village of New Maryland.

Sometime during the overnight hours of November 10 to 11, 2016, someone spray painted the letters ‘NMB’ on the Village of New Maryland ‘welcome’ sign at the intersection of Route 101 and the TransCanada Highway, using orange florescent paint. A nearby village limit sign was also vandalized with spray paint.

village-of-new-maryland-2Police are asking anyone with information, or who may have noticed people or vehicles in the area of the signs to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300.
