Two from Beaumont charged with drug and firearm offences

Beaumont, Alberta – On November 13th, 2016, Beaumont RCMP Detachment conducted a proactive traffic check stop on 50th Street and Township 510 southbound. A vehicle was stopped and a Controlled Drug and Substance Act investigation was initiated.

The two occupants were in possession of a controlled substance. During the search of the vehicle, a firearm and ammunition were also recovered.

Christopher ULRICH and Charlene MEDEMA, of Beaumont, AB, have been charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and are facing several counts of Firearm related charges. Both will appear in Leduc Provincial court on November, 17, 2016 @ 09:30 AM.
