Impaired Drivers Know no Boundaries – Afternoon Motor Vehicle Collision leads to Impaired Driving Charges

St. Albert, Alberta – On November 10, 2016 at approximately 2:30 P.M. in the afternoon, St. Albert Traffic Services responded to an motor vehicle collision on Inglewood Drive and Boudreau Road. A Nissan Altima had crossed the center line of a two lane roadway on Inglewood Drive, hitting a pick up truck which had been stopped at a red light.

The ensuing police investigation resulted in 49 year old Jarrad Friedenberger of St. Albert being charged with:

• Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle Over 80 mg% under the Criminal Code of Canada
• Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle by Alcohol under the Criminal Code of Canada and
• Drive Left of Center contrary to the Use of Highway and Rules of the Road Regulations.

He will appear in St. Albert Provincial Court December 12, 2016 to answer to the charges.
