Rimbey, Alberta – On November 28, 2016 a male attended the Rimbey Detachment in response to a media request for information relating to an indecent act investigation. The investigation began on November 9 and as a result a male identified himself as the possible suspect.
Following the RCMP investigation, this incident is being concluded and no criminal code charges are being pursued. The media and public are thanked for their assistance in this.
Rimbey RCMP investigate indecent act
On November 9, 2016 Rimbey RCMP responded to a report of a male exposing himself while walking on 50 Street in Rimbey.
The victim was also out walking on 50 Street at about 10:00 a.m., when the victim saw the male allegedly exposing his genitals. He said hi to victim and carried on walking.
The suspect is described as:
*Older Caucasian male
*Pudgy face, dark brown hair (salt/pepper)
*Approximately 5’5” – 5’6”
*Wearing a red shirt and a two tone hat (red and black), tan coat, blue jeans and sneakers.
The Rimbey RCMP are seeking public assistance in identifying this male.
