Airdrie Rural RCMP seek assistance to identify theft suspects

Airdrie, Alberta – Airdrie RCMP are seeking information from the public regarding the theft of a shotgun.

Between the hours of 11:00 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2016 and 5:00 AM on Monday, November 21, 2016, unknown person(s) gained entry into two vehicles parked at a rural residence East of Airdrie and stole a firearm. The stolen firearm is a Mossberg “Silver Reserve” over/under double-barrel, 20 gauge shotgun. At the time of the theft, the firearm was not loaded and was stored in a cloth carrying case with a trigger lock in place.

Airdrie Rural RCMP are asking anyone with information on this crime to contact the Airdrie RCMP at (403)-945-7267 or Crime stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by internet at You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers, and if you provide information that leads to an arrest(s), you may be eligible for a cash reward.
