School Bus Driver Charged with ‘Sexting’

Rose Valley, Prince Edward Island – Queens District RCMP have charged a 31 year old school bus driver from Rose Valley, Prince Edward Island for ‘sexting’ with a minor.

Stephen William MacLeod, age 31, of Rose Valley has been charged criminally with Luring a Child (subsection 172.1(2) Criminal Code) and Invitation to Sexual Touching (section 152 Criminal Code.)

The victim is a female youth aged 15 years. ‘Sexting’ is a phrase commonly referred to the exchange of sexually explicit photos, images, text messages, or e-mails by using a cell phone or other mobile device.

The accused has since been suspended from his employment. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court in Charlottetown on December 12, 2016.
