Male Charged With Poppy Fund Theft

Stettler, Alberta – On November 11th, 2016, a male entered the Stettler Tim Horton’s and stole the Remembrance Day Poppy donation box and exited the store without incident.

Video surveillance of the incident was obtained and the person responsible identified as 27yr old Dustin FINLAY. A Warrant for FINLAY’s arrest was obtained and he was arrested by Red Deer RCMP for an unrelated matter.

FINLAY has been charged with Theft Under $5000 and has a court date of December 8th, 2016.
