Three men, one woman, face 165 charges in Toronto firearm and drug investigation; guns, drugs, cash seized

Toronto, Ontario – In late 2016, the Toronto Police Service Integrated Gun and Gang Task Force (IGGTF) started an investigation into the possession of firearms by people allegedly involved in the trafficking of narcotics.

During the evening of Sunday, January 15, 2017, the IGGTF executed five search warrants in Toronto. Four people were arrested.

It is alleged that the following firearms and ammunition were seized:

  • Tikka T3 (Rifle), .308
  • Robinson Arms XCR-L (Rifle), .223/5.56
  • Anderson AM – 15-M4 (Rifle) , .223/5.56
  • Dagger Sap6 (Shotgun), 12 gauge
  • Glock 17 (Handgun), 9mm
  • Glock 23 (Handgun), .40 S&W
  • Cobra ENT CA380 (Handgun), .380
  • four over-capacity magazines
  • 368 rounds (various calibres)

  • heroin
  • cocaine
  • ecstasy
  • marijuana
  • oxycodone

It is further alleged that more than $45,000 in cash was seized.

Kiarash Parzham, 24, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) 11 counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or ammunition
2) 11 counts of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
3) seven counts of Possession of a Firearm knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4) five counts of Possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
5) seven counts of a Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon obtained by crime
6) seven counts of Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
7) two counts of Possession of Proceeds of Property or thing obtained by crime in Canada/Exceed $5000
8) six counts of CDSA – Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

Natasha Gorgan, 23, of Toronto, was arrested. She is charged with:

1) 11 counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or ammunition
2) 11 counts of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
3) seven counts of a Firearm knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4) five counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
5) seven counts of a Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon obtained by crime
6) two counts of Possession of Proceeds of Property or thing obtained by crime in Canada/Exceed $5000
7) six counts of CDSA – Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

1) 11 counts of Careless Storage of Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or ammunition
2) 11 counts of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm
3) seven counts of a Possession of a Firearm knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4) five counts of possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm with ammunition
5) seven counts of a Possession of a Firearm, Prohibited or Restricted Weapon obtained by crime
6) seven counts of Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
7) two counts of Possession of Proceeds of Property or thing obtained by crime in Canada/Exceed $5000
8) six counts of CDSA – Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking

Trae Greaves, 21, of Richmond Hill, was arrested. He is charged with:

1) Possession of Proceeds of Property or Thing Obtained by Crime in Canada/Exceed $5000
2) three counts of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
