Lethbridge Police continue to investigate suspicious death

Lethbridge, Alberta – Lethbridge Police continue to investigate the suspicious death of a 61-year-old woman and are seeking the public’s assistance to help piece together her whereabouts and activities leading up to her death.

On January 29, 2017 at approximately 9:45 a.m. police and EMS responded to a report of an unresponsive woman who was found by a passerby in the parking lot of an apartment complex along Berkeley Place West. The woman, who was pronounced deceased at the scene, has been identified as Elizabeth Betty Beaulieu.

Investigation is ongoing and an autopsy has been scheduled for Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Medical Examiner’s Office in Calgary.

Anyone who observed Beaulieu in the 24 hours prior to the discovery of her body on Sunday morning is asked to contact police at 403-328-4444 or Crime Stoppers 1-800-222-8477.

Investigation is ongoing and no further information will be released at this time.
