Prince Albert Police Investigate Weapons Complaint Involving Significant Injuries

Prince Albert, Saskatchewan – The Prince Albert Police Service responded to a weapons call Saturday evening which resulted in two males being transported to hospital with significant injuries.

At approximately 10:03 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2017 officers were dispatched to a residence on the 800 block of 2nd Street East. Two males were located, both bleeding from stab wounds. Parkland Ambulance attended to the scene and treated both males on scene. Both males were then transported to hospital.

One 17-year-old male youth from Prince Albert is charged with aggravated assault and having in his possession a weapon dangerous to the public peace. (Information #991000023)

The suspect will make his first appearance in provincial court today.
