Airdrie RCMP Investigates Theft from Liquor Store

Airdrie, Alberta – On Feb. 12th, 2017, at 3:45 p.m., the Airdrie RCMP responded to a theft complaint from the Sobey’s liquor store located on Main Street in Airdrie. A male entered the store, selected a basket and began filling it with numerous liquor bottles. A second suspect, a female, stayed in the lobby of the store while the male walked out of the store without paying for any of the items.

Both suspects got into a Maroon coloured Dodge Durango with Alberta licence plate of BLE 082. The plate was later reported stolen out of Airdrie.

The suspect male is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Late 30’s
  • Wearing a Blue ‘hoodie’ and a New England Patriots hat
  • Approximately 5″8 to 5″10 tall

The suspect female is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • Early 30’s
  • Tattoo on her right hand
  • Had a Black eye
