Edmonton Police seek public’s assistance to locate violent offender Dean Goulet

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a violent offender that failed to return to Alberta Hospital Friday evening.


Dean Goulet, 39, left the hospital Friday afternoon, but did not return to the hospital by a 10 p.m. curfew, as stipulated under his court-ordered conditions.

Goulet is a prolific violent offender who has served prison time for numerous robbery and firearm-related crimes.

Goulet has been placed on court ordered conditions including:

  • Must abide by a curfew of 10 PM to 6 AM daily
  • Must abstain from the possession or consumption of alcohol or drugs, including marijuana
  • Must not be in any premise or establishment where the primary focus is the consumption or sale of alcohol (bars, nightclubs, casinos etc.)
  • Must not associate with anyone with a criminal history

Anyone with any information about the whereabouts of Dean Goulet is advised to not approach this individual, but is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567.
