Airdrie RCMP Investigates Repeat Gas and Dash Offender

Airdrie, Alberta – Three Gas and Dash events have been reported to Airdrie RCMP between, one in Dec. 2016 and two in Jan. 2017, which involve what appears to be the same truck and suspect. In one instance, RCMP was able to confirm the attached licence plate had been stolen from a separate Black Dodge Ram in Airdrie. The thefts have occurred from various gas stations in Airdrie. In each instance, approximately $100.00 worth of gas was taken.

The description of the suspect is:

– Male
– Thin
– Dark skin and hair
– Smokes cigarettes

The description of the Truck is very specific and described as:

– Black Dodge Ram, newer model, crew cab, short box
– Two bold thick parallel red stripes on the hood
– Blacked out Dodge Ram emblem on the back tailgate
