Langley, BC – Two men remain in hospital this morning after a collision on 200th Street late last night (March 6th).
Police were called at around 10:20 p.m. for a two vehicle collision in the 8800 block of 200 Street. The investigation thus far indicates an Acura MDX had exited the freeway and vaulted two concrete medians landing in the northbound lanes of 200th Street. The Acura then collided with a Ford panel van head-on. The driver of the panel van was trapped in his vehicle for some time and his passenger was ejected.
All three parties were transported to hospital for treatment of their injuries which appear to be non-life-threatening.
Police believe the driver of the Acura, a 54 year old Langley woman may have been impaired and a blood samples were taken for analysis.
Langley Traffic Services assumed conduct of the investigation and ICARS attended to assist. Several witnesses remained at the scene to provide their statements and others rendered first aid to the injured.
