Five people charged following an investigation by the Saskatoon Integrated Drug Enforcement Street Team

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan – On March 8, 2017, members of SIDEST observed activity to be consistent with drug trafficking at an apartment in the 200 block of Saskatchewan Crescent East. A traffic stop was conducted and a 36-year-old male was arrested for Possession of Marihuana and Cocaine.

As a result of the investigation, a search warrant was executed with the assistance of the Tactical Support Unit. Police arrested four males and seized 17.1 grams of crack cocaine, 27.5 grams of powdered cocaine, 26.8 grams of marihuana and over $1600 in cash.

A 30-year-old man is charged with;

  • Trafficking Cocaine
  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
  • Possession of Marihuana

A 22-year-old man is charged with;

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of Marihuana

A 20-year-old man is charged with;

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of Marihuana
  • Breach of Recognizance (x3)

A 32-year-old man is charged with;

  • Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Cocaine
  • Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
  • Possession of Marihuana
