Airdrie RCMP Seek to Identify Suspect who Passed Counterfeit Currency

Airdrie, Alberta – On March 7th, 2017, at approximately 7:00 p.m., at the Mac’s Convenience Store on Summerfield Blvd. in Airdrie, a lone suspect male paid for merchandise using a counterfeit Canadian $100 bill. He used the bill to purchase water and cigarettes.

Police are looking for the public’s help to identify the suspect who is described as:

  • Black male
  • Beard
  • White Jacket
  • Black and white checkered shirt
  • Dallas Cowboys baseball cap
