Edmonton Police asking public to help identify suspect in assault

Edmonton, Alberta – The Edmonton Police Service is asking the public for assistance in identifying a suspect.

At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 police were called to a disturbance in a lounge at Rogers Place. It was reported that a male was allegedly assaulted by another male following a verbal dispute.

EMS responded and treated the male for non-life threatening injuries on scene.

The suspect, who fled the arena prior to police arrival, is described as a Caucasian male in his late 30s to early 40s, approximately 6’0” tall with a thin to medium build and black, curly hair. He was wearing dark jeans, a white shirt with pockets and a black pea coat.
