Four face potential charges in wake of Kelowna drug investigation

Kelowna, BC – A two month long investigation into local drug trafficking, led by the Kelowna RCMP Street Enforcement Unit (SEU), culminated in the execution of 3 search warrants which yielded both illicit drugs and cash.

On March 22, 2017 police executed search warrants on two motor vehicles and a home in the 1800 block of Country Club Drive in Kelowna. During their search, police seized a significant amount of items which included suspected illicit drugs, cash, money counters, multiple safes and packaging materials consistent with the drug trade.

“In total police seized over 239 grams of suspected cocaine, and over 160 grams of suspected heroin, in various forms and most of which were individually packaged ready for distribution,” says Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey. “Police also located and seized a total sum of nearly $9,000 in cash.”
